TURNING HOUSES INTO BILLBOARDS

Folks struggling to get their mortgage paid may try to think up ideas out of the proverbial box, and for those who are open to creativity, an upstart mobile advertising company has just such an unusual proposal. The company, Adzookie, from Orange, California, is offering to pay homeowners’ mortgages in exchange for painting their company advertising on the house.

The company website states that it is “looking for homes to turn into billboards”. It plans to paint its bold logs and social media icons onto the homes. The paint must remain for at least three months, up to a year. Adzookie will pay the homeowners’ mortgage for every month that the house remains painted with their advertising.
The company CEO reported that within two days they received 3,000 responses, the majority of which were from people who had financial hardships. The company invites those who are prepared for bright colors and stares from neighbors to apply.
